§ 16. EMERGENCY.

  • It being immediately necessary for the preservation of the peace, health, safety, welfare and the public good of the City of Guymon, and the citizens thereof, that the provisions of this ordinance take effect and be put into full force and effect immediately, an emergency is hereby declared to exist by reason whereof this ordinance shall take effect immediately and be put into full force and effect from and after the date of its enactment, as provided by law.
