§ 3. GRANT OF NON-EXCLUSIVE PERMIT.

(a)

There is hereby granted by the city to the grantee the non-exclusive right and permit to construct, erect, operate and maintain, in, upon, along, across, above, over and under the streets, alleys, public ways and public places now laid out or dedicated, and all extensions thereof, and additions thereto, in the city, poles, wires, cables, underground conduits, manholes, and other television conductors and fixtures necessary for the operation and maintenance in the city of a CATV system, and to furnish and sell service from such system to the inhabitants of the city and surrounding unincorporated area.

(b)

The city specifically reserves the right to grant a similar use of said streets, alleys, public ways and places to any person, firm or corporation, at any time.
